Carbon Frappe

Carbon Frappe restyles Frappe so it looks and behaves as if it were designed with IBM's Carbon Design System. It's for teams that spend all day in ERPNext and want a calmer, denser, more consistent interface, and for organizations that already standardize on Carbon. It replaces Frappe's own stylesheets rather than layering on top of them, so there's one stylesheet per surface and no cascade fights. It targets Frappe v16.

• Every surface themed: desk, website and portal, login, email, charts, and frappe-ui apps, built from the official @carbon/* packages.

• Carbon UI Shell header generated from Frappe's workspace sidebar, with an app switcher, overflow menu, and the notification panel.

• One table engine behind child tables, list views, and report views: column resizing and pinning, virtualized rows, spreadsheet-style selection and paste, and child-table rows that expand into their form.

• Brand colors set in Carbon Settings, with separate light and dark values and derived hover and text tones.

• Dev indicator: local development sites get a yellow, hazard-striped header so they're never mistaken for production.

• Drift guards that flag Carbon token renames and Frappe markup changes before they quietly revert the theme.

Getting started

Install it on a dedicated bench, since the theme applies bench-wide. The README covers installation, verification, and the caveats around partial builds and bench watch.
